An Exciting Adventure

This is the first of many illustrations for a Childrens book I've been asked to work on. It's a very exciting project for me and as soon as I have more news about it I'll say more.

Of Course There's A Story Here!!!

This is our Sammy, sigh, my Sammy. High strung, strong willed, loveable and can chew a tennis ball in seconds. The bottom of our pool can attest to that fact.

So surfing thru Ebay looking for canvas, I came across this man selling, along with his canvas, tennis balls. Used professional tennisballs. 100..yes, 1oo used professional tennis balls and I bought them!!!!

My friend Ray and Mr. Shaq called to ask how long we thought it would take Sam to go through 100 tennis balls. Time will tell.

Not A Lab

Every so often and probably more so I will be doing other work for you to see. I love painting, I love where it takes me and I Love how time actually stands still when I work. On the days that I tend to "think" about what i'm doing and what I need to do there aren't enough hours in the day.

Ravens seem to appear out back alot and as I get out of my van at the grocery there will be one sitting on a cart. I took it as a sign one needed to be painted. Enjoy!

I finished the painting and thought how many Labs have "danced" their way along a river. Running in to cool off, check out what was floating or enjoying life.

I took the kids to the park today. It was hot but the two boys played ball and ran with the pack that were there. Sophie stayed by me and snapped at a few dogs that came too close. She didn't eat before we left home and she was crabby...I realized I was feeling the same way. We all got into the van and came home for the pool, food and coffee. Not nescassarily in that order. :-)

A Celebration!!

What a day today was!!! I closed my Ebay store and now just working with my web site and auctions. How did I feel?? LIke Fergus flying across the dog park with not a care in the world.

They are behind me as I write this..Sophie is hungry so she's squeeking..yes Labs can squeek...who knew. So..let me go feed the masses and a hardy ..wooohooooo!!!!

We had fires in Palm Bay this past week and horridly it they had been set and so many lost their homes. We took the Labs to the dog park Saturday to get life back into us.

We Went To Disney

So I took two days off to go the Disneyworld. The kids here had a "sitter" which is nice. They get to stay home but they do get depressed that they can't join us.

I forgot to ost a new painting that I did so here it is. I thought if Monet had a Lab this what he would have seen that day he painted the haystacks!! Enjoy!!

Two Today

Two today ..busy bee. I get to sit and

paint when I do 8" x 8"'s. It's wonderful.

The second is our chocolate Fergus curles in his sleeping position on the back porch. Of course he never sleeps out here..too much to see.

The first is my Sophie running for the ball I'm sure. I loved the motion that I captured.
