Well spent the day painting Alaska paintings. Almost finished. By the end of next week they will be posted on my web site and we'll start the choosing.
The kids all got huge beef bones from the meat man and I gave Sammy the huge knuckle. It's disappeared and we're hoping he ate it all and not swallowed it..LOL..He has Sophie's now and she's been complaining all day. Those little woofs that say..."Mum..get it!!!!"
Anyway...have a wonderful day tommorrow. I give thanks for Roger , Sophie, Fergus and Sammy, my children and grandkids, Ray and Mr. Shaq and all of my wonderful friends that I have met and chat with from my web site to Ebay. You all give my life meaning and I thank God everyday for you all.!!!!
Preparing to paint our way across America with Labs and RVing full time. This blog will be the story, the paintings and eventually, the take off!

Heading Home
I've been having so much fun painting the images from my Alaska Voyage that I decided to do a different size of a Lab walking down the lane between the snow covered trees.
Our Labs have never seen snow but seeing how excited they get in cold weather I can only imagine. One day we'll take them North!!!

How Not To Start A Week!
Ok...The water heater went over the weekend...I dropped a favorite
This weekend Roger was working on a friends computer that he had set up for her. He placed it on the end of the glass dinning room table. The monitor was there, the keyboard, my decorations to the other side. I got a cup of coffee and went to sit on the living room couch to watch a bit of the Today show before I started my day. Walking by the table I put the remote on top of the tower so no one would steal it.
Fergus curled at my feet, Sophie took the chaise and Sammy for some reason got up and sat at the table. Not unusual for him. The next few moments were all in slow motion as I saw Sam put two paws on the glass table and start to raise himself up to see what was on top of the computer tower. The sinking scene from the Titanic came to my mind, the chairs sliding to the bow, the people trying to grab hold....Sammy froze, I froze...the sound was awful and the glass was everywhere. The Labs came right over to inspect but they know not to go near broken glass.
Sammy is being so very good right now giving me sad I'm really sorry Mum eyes when I walk by.
It's all good in the whole scheme of things. The computer was dead anyway...and no-one was hurt...and Thanksgiving will be interesting with us all sitting around a little bistro table. We;ll be a VERY close family!!! :-)

Alaska in Paint and Labs
Living with Labs!! There were 5 to put on today however Sophie got exuberant in the cooler weather and caught one that hadn't dried on her side ( I saw the paint) and it went flying of course landing face down. I wasn't sure if I had liked it, now I'm positive. Sigh. Roger did say now it had real texture and original Lab hair and our friend Ray said that maybe I could start doing multi-dimensional art. When I finish 40 Alaska paintings I will be putting them on my web site for our fellow travelers to choose. It's been a lot of work but Oh so much fun. Where will our next adventure be...????

Back To Work
We're Baaaaack!
So it took a few days of me moving from the couch, of course followed by the merry band, to the bed, to the next couch to recover from the journey! What a time we had in Alaska!!! Roger, Ray and I were like the 3 Amigo's...all that was missing was a silly hand shake. I honestly don't think I have ever laughed so much on a trip before.
My son Jamie, who had workd in Alaska at one time , asked for Reindeer Sausage. It's really good but to find an actual place that sells it with out by-products is dificult. We did find a great place that also served wine as you waited, however, at one point someone did mention the Alaska Zoo as a possibility of getting the sausage. LOL...
Last night I let the kids out and a great hooha ensued. Sammy and Fergus were onto some prey.
A possum. I saw Sammy do a small shake then release and the possum lay dead. LOL...Roger went out with a shovel and scooped him over the fence. Sorry neighbors..he just needed to be away from here. Reading this morning on Possums he may have come out of his trance and scooted away. Wow he looked Dead!!!!! Life with Labs!!!
