New fun Print

So the latest thing is to make prints using foam trays. Yes, the kind you get when you get fruit, or meat. Who knew?? You use a pencil, seems the best, the other sharp instruments ripped the foam. Then using a water based ink, I used acrylic paint on this one, you make your image. Since I do Labs that is what I tried. Marking your paper helps you do multiple colors on your print.

So..this is my first foam print!! More to come, a little larger when I get larger trays. The image is floated on a 7" x 5" dark blue suede mat and can be easily framed.

Dogs of Twitter #3. Well this was tough one. Make it dark and shadowed without being dirty. I used purples, blues, yellows and orange. A Cobalt blue sky

This is number 2 of the "Dogs of Twitter". Oh yes, there's a lot more coming. The idea was started when I started on Twitter and my followers or those I floowed all had dogs. Marcy

Friends of ours beloved Lab, Marcy, went to the Bridge today. She was about 15, sweet girl, and tonight she has perfect sight, and runs faster than all the others.
Allot of tears today but also laughter as I heard stories of her through the years.
Please hug your furkids alittle longer tonight and light a candle in her honor.
We all love you Marcy!!

Yes...before I discovered blogging I was painting 3 to 4 paintings a day for sale on Ebay. I now have 3 years worth of images few people have even seen. Our friend was here this past week and said.."Why don't you do a picture book and share" So..I am now in the process of bringing these images to you.

I am starting with volume 1, yes volume 1 of "Black Labs" The book is 10" x 8" , 80 pages. I offer a hard cover book and a paperback volume.

I am in awe of how many paintings I have done. The Series then will go of course to Chocolates and then yellow Labs. Each copy will be signed by me.
